About Me

With more than twenty years of experience as an integrative counsellor, I have successfully worked with a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and young people. In addition, I hold a supervisor qualification.

My commitment to supporting clients is fueled by passion, and I employ various models and skills tailored to each individual’s needs. By creating a safe space, I empower clients to explore their feelings and work towards positive change. I pride myself on being a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental counsellor who provides confidential services.

My extensive experience spans working with adults, children, and young people of varying ages and learning differences. I offer emotional support, assist in developing coping techniques, building resilience, address self-worth and confidence, provide solutions for problem-solving, enhance relationships, and guide individuals towards freedom from self-sabotage and self-destructive behaviors and thoughts.

As a professional member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I bring over eight years of specialized support within Domestic Abuse services. My expertise extends to helping individuals navigate their paths to healing and resilience.

My counselling approach encompasses addressing emotional trauma, body dysmorphia, intrusive thoughts, self-harm, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bereavement/loss, stress, relationship challenges, post-natal depression, and self-confidence issues, all within a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Being an integrative counsellor, I draw upon various therapeutic approaches, including person-centered, psychodynamic, solution-focused, CBT, play therapy, and other modalities. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

In addition to individual counselling, I offer group work for children and young people in educational settings, along with providing training to professionals. My extensive experience includes years of counselling in Domestic Abuse for different charities, working with both children and adults in the community and various educational settings, including schools, primary/secondary schools, and academies.
