In couples counselling my goal is to initially determine if both of you are committed to improving your relationship.
I aim to assist in creating a happy, healthy, and secure partnership by enhancing communication skills, emphasising positive aspects, and addressing any negatives. While I provide support and guidance its important that both partners commit to the sessions.
In certain situations, separation may be the safest and healthiest option. I can help navigate the pain and grief associated with the end of the relationship, offering a constructive space to understand reasons for the breakup and facilitate forward movement.
Our first therapy session would involve both of you, followed by individual appointments in the second session.
